On-Water Cinematography & Multi-Source Editorial

For this U.S. Coast Guard diver training exercise, I served as Director of Photography and on-water camera operator, capturing high-speed sequences from inside active Coast Guard vessels during live operations.

The project followed YouTuber Sam Eckholm during a real-world training scenario. While Pacific Coast Gimbals captured aerial coverage from an A-Star helicopter, I focused on the on-water perspective - handheld and stabilized coverage from the boats themselves, documenting the intensity and precision of the exercise at sea.

Beyond principal photography, I collected and organized footage from multiple sources - including aerial gimbal footage and additional ground units - and am currently cutting a more in-depth version that emphasizes pacing, continuity, and cinematic color grading across formats.

The released video has surpassed 1M+ views within six months.
