Aerial Camera Operation for Next-Generation eVTOL Aircraft

For this project, I worked as aerial camera operator capturing flight sequences for Pivotal Aviation’s electric vertical takeoff aircraft, filmed for both CNN and The Wall Street Journal.

The shoot required precise coordination between pilot, safety team, and ground crew while operating in live airspace. My focus was capturing stable, cinematic flight footage that could hold up in both broadcast news and long-form editorial contexts.

Beyond aerial capture, I also shot medium format behind-the-scenes photography for The Wall Street Journal’s coverage - documenting the aircraft, crew, and production environment with the same attention to tone and composition as the motion work.
