On-Water Cinematography / Multi-Source Editorial

For this U.S. Coast Guard diver training exercise, I served as Director of Photography and on-water camera operator, capturing high-speed sequences from inside active Coast Guard vessels during live operations.

The project followed Sam Eckholm through a live training scenario. While Pacific Coast Gimbals captured aerial coverage from an A-Star helicopter, I focused on the on-water perspective, documenting the intensity and precision of the exercise from inside the boats themselves.

Beyond principal photography, I collected and organized footage from multiple sources, including aerial gimbal footage and additional ground units, and cut a more in-depth version that emphasizes pacing, continuity, and cinematic color grading across formats.

The released video surpassed 1 million views within six months.
