I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Director of Photography on multiple AC Transit productions—each revealing the vital role this public transportation system plays in the Bay Area. My background in photojournalism, including work with The New York Times, informs my approach to visually capturing AC Transit’s commitment to accessibility, community, and innovation. One of these projects was a collaboration with Pulitzer Prize–winning photojournalist Noah Berger, emphasizing the personal stories of everyday riders and the staff who keep the system running.
Beyond the documentary-style approach, another project brought me face-to-face with AC Transit’s leadership, including the CEO, as well as U.S. senators announcing a multi-million-dollar federal grant. This shoot featured VR demonstrations and spotlighted new technology initiatives that steer AC Transit into the future. Across every production, I’ve focused on blending dynamic visuals with authentic storytelling—ensuring each piece showcases AC Transit’s forward-thinking ethos and its dedication to connecting diverse communities throughout the region.
